What is httpvnc

httpvnc is a web desktop (webtop) software that allows multiple users simultaneous secure network access (similar to Citrix) to one or more Linux and Windows servers. The software implements a complete virtual desktop infrastructre (VDI) including file transfer, print transfer and persistent sessions. No special client software installation besides a Java-enabled standard web browser (preferably Chromium) is required (the client is implemented as a Java applet). The software is completely free and open source.
